The Craze About Liquid Nutrition

Go Crazy For Smoothies! (I Give You Permission)

Smoothies (especially green ones) are this season’s trendiest and most convenient healthy meal alternatives. It is a grab and go snack on your way to work that doesn’t sacrifice tastiness or a refreshment during summertime lounging by the pool. If you anticipate snoozing your alarm clock (guilty!) one too many times in the morning, cut your fruits and vegetables and stick them in the freezer so they’re ready to go for the morning! Frozen fruits and vegetables create a creamier smoothie and keeps ingredients from going bad.

Don’t be trapped by the Whole Foods juice bar, the SweetGreen SweetPress, or the specialty juice café’s that have suddenly become just as common as Starbucks. While it can be convenient to pick one up on the go, a $10 smoothie doesn’t bode well with our bank accounts. This lifestyle change can be one completely designed by your creative self!

(Fun Fact: One of Nicole Richie’s obsessions is Pressed Juicery, which delivers right to your door. She was one of their first customers.)

Here are some ideas to get you going that contain your daily dose of fruits and vegetables to keep you feeling energized and refreshed!
